Description
Driving to Cades Cove in the Great Smokey Mountains national Park is always beautiful and a lot of fun but in the winter and snow it is especially exciting. Driving past icy spirals that are several feet long as they shake from the vibration of the cars passing by is a very exciting prospect! The beauty of the mountains and all the trees is even more pleasing to the eyes when confined to winters blacks, greys, browns, whites with only the green from the evergreen to show the hope for the coming year. A thick coat of winter white washes away all the worries of the cold and promises more fun in the spring mountains!
